User and public involvement
The North Central London CardioVascular and Stroke Network is committed to developing patient-centred services designed around the needs of patients and carers. To ensure this remains at the centre of our work, we have patients and carers contribute to our work, sense-checking new plans and providing scrutiny to progress.
Two proactive Patient Advisory Panels, one stroke and one cardiac, are essential to our patient involvement and we have patient representation at the Network Board and on a number of task groups and projects.
If you are a heart or stroke patient or carer and would like to find out more about the work our patient advisory panels are doing, please contact our office on 020 7685 6270 or email nclcardiacstroke.network@nhs.net
User involvement in Network activities is valuable to the Network and we have an ongoing program to extend our links with service users and PPI forums, including local service user groups, LINks and PALS departments.
