Comments on how the delegates found the workshops

  • Very enjoyable and challenging
  • These talks are excellent - putting them on regularly is helpful, as always lots of info to take in and sometime the sessions feel rushed.
  • Repeat
  • Relevant to my everyday practice
  • Increased confidence in viewing in-house ECGs

Suggestions for future events

  • Needed more info on HF mgt in community.
  • Would like more info on older pts.
  • Session on how various professionals would treat pts and conditions.
  • More time needs to be spent on each session - at least 2hrs
  • Primary and secondary prevention in IHD
  • Can we have a back to basics ECG session, something on therapeutics, pharmacology and pacemakers. Help me establish use of ECG in GP practice.
  • To know what I should do as a GP for pts with arrhythmias and HF before or instead of referring them to a cardiologist
  • New QOF requirements require us to palpate pts pulses and record rate and then to refer for ECG - would need an update on pulse rhythms
  • Stroke is one of my two areas of interest - would like to know how therapist can treat pts with such conditions.
